What notable things happened today?

A leaseholder myself, Snellers the property management company has formally apologised for their poor management. Admittedly, I wouldn’t have received a formal apology if it wasn’t due to the First-Tier Tribunal charge imposed on them. It costs £100 to raise that charge, what the heck.

I’ve been on back and forth struggles with Snellers to fix my roof for one and the half years. My family has been living on bare concrete floor for almost a year because insurer wouldn’t let us lay the floor unless we fix the roof. Kinda silly considering the building is freeholder’s responsibility which I have no control of. I felt stressful, frustrated, and angry throughout my pregnancy up until the birth of my second child who is now 6 months old. 33% of incremental property service charge this year doesn’t justify the services received. In addition, I filed for First-Tier Tribunal charge just to get people working.

Honestly, do I deserve this? I salute myself for the patience and determination to resolve this matter. The most notable thing that happened today was I accepted their apology and dropped the charge because I am not as nasty as they think.
